Iceland: first contact

What an incredible month September has been!

After years of dreaming about visiting Iceland, Ben and I landed in Reykjavík on my birthday, and embarked on a 9 days road trip in a Jeep with roof tent, on what turned out to be the most extraordinary adventure of our lives!

As I write this it’s 6am and I am knees deep in a folder of 5000 images I took there, trying to sort them out and edit them. It’s a mammoth task, considering that it’s incredibly hard to delete any of them, so there isn’t much sense of progress being made… but I managed to edit a handful of images to created that EDITED folder already.

I have so much to say about this journey, and the project it inspired me to embark upon in November… but for now, I’ll let these first images speak.

I shall return with a series of posts depicting each day, with its small or grand adventures, what we saw, what we experienced, what I felt :)
