Mist, mountains and morning coffee: a Lake District adventure
Few hikes in The Lake District have impressed me as much as this short, yet breath taking adventure at Fleetwith Pike at sunrise!
A short (45-70min) hike from Honnister Slate Mine, this short hike is surprisingly rewarding in terms of views.
From the top, one can admire Buttermere and Crummock Water surrounded by mountains. It’s the perfect spot to brew a cup of coffee and sit and think about life for a minute, or just admire the fog sweeping across the valley.
